Hotfix [July 15] - PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows Store

Crashes & Stability

  • Fixed a crash related to items carried by NPCs.

  • Fix crash when closing the game when certain quests are active.

  • Fixed a crash on old saves with an outdated village improvement construction site.

  • Fixed occasional crashes during group travel to a different map.

  • Fixed a crash caused by loading a save with a lot of construction sites.

  • Fixed a rare crash related to NPCs trying to open gates while they are closing.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when removing roads.

  • Fixed a potential memory overflow when quickly switching between next and previous tabs.

Co-op / Multiplayer

  • Clients now don't see the button "offer practice fight" when a fight was already started.

  • Fix item slot gamepad options menu closing on clients when a container contains spoiling food items.

  • Added a setting to disable persistent player markers in co-op.

  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck on the loading screen when joining a host who still needed to create a character.

  • Fixed an issue where clients could spawn outside the map when joining the game.

  • Fixed health bars displaying on neutral NPCs when they turn hostile.

  • Fixed players sometimes losing their character in co-op when reconnecting.

  • Fixed tether mode not working correctly for clients.

Audio

  • Tweaked how rain SFX and wind whistling SFX changed depending on rain intensity.

  • Fixed playing torch fire sfx more on the left.

  • Fade out bubbles sfx when fishing is interrupted/cancelled.

  • Fixed no voice for Thiana Reesling.

Optimization & Technical

  • Slightly optimized road placement.

  • Optimized rock collision.

Quests & Dialogue

  • Fixed reported issues in dialogues and descriptions in various quests.

  • Fixed approving a building plan for a personal shack not progressing Lubomir's quest.

  • Fixed conversation with npcs not ending when npc joins combat.

NPCs, Animals & Navigation

  • Fixed various reported issues with NPC navigation.

  • Fixed gamepad navigation to search results when using a searchbar in the warehouse screen.

  • Fixed Buckler Shield carry positioning when equipped by NPCs.

  • Fix navigation problems with butchery right after loading save.

  • Adjusted markers for bandit migration on the map to avoid them spawning on the rocks and other unreachable locations.

  • Made gamepad navigation consistent for all recipe list items in the research screen.

  • Added navigation hints and improved visibility of scrollable interactions.

  • Fixed villagers sometimes getting stuck while disassembling walls.

  • Fixed animal interactions after they wake up from sleep.

  • Fixed wrong work details sometimes displaying on the NPC inspect screen or when hovering over an NPC map icon.

  • Display only NPC nicknames (rather than full names) in widgets that previously used nicknames only.

  • Fixed reported navmesh issues on the raid map.

UI, HUD & Gamepad

  • Fixed freezes when loading and opening various menus.

  • Fixed controller not working properly for recalling caravans, interacting with notifications, and various other menus.

  • Fix placing player waypoints that are far away from player when using controller.

  • Fixed incorrect wrapping when trying to navigate past the last item of the list in the building screen while using a gamepad.

  • Fixed missing focus when scrolling trough the building list in the building screen with right analog stick.

  • Fixed incorrect item count in the crafting management screen while crafting was active.

  • Fixed left analog stick being used for both running and scrolling while reading a long note in the codex.

  • Fixed item tooltips not disappearing after closing and reopening the caravan route screen.

  • Made keybind hint background outline expand without stretching the texture.

  • Changed item tooltip buttons hint layout so it can fit longer localized words.

  • Fixed a radius slider being visible for Pit when it shouldn't be.

  • Fixed controller focus getting lost in the building screen when the list is empty.

  • Fixed artisan clothing technology appearing as boots in the tech tree.

  • Fixed disappearing sliders in the trading screen.

  • Added controller support to the faction screen.

  • Fixed button icons not scaling properly.

  • Fixed column focus resetting to Priority when navigating between rows in the structure management menu with a controller.

  • Reworked the morale & happiness tab so it can be scrolled with a gamepad.

  • Fixed the unexplored map being visible along the edges.

  • Fixed the "Not allowed in any storage" hint not displaying properly when a library or weapon rack is built.

Visuals & Environment

  • Fixed various issues with collisions in Cragkeep and the port on Halmare Isles.

  • Improved buildable wall collisions.

  • Fixed visual glitches with prison walls.

  • Improved visuals of various cart decorations.

  • Fixed bloom overblown when constructing certain structure parts.

  • Fixed Halmayan Coat of plates armor clipping on female characters.

Gameplay & Systems

  • Added an ability for player to use books directly from containers.

  • Fixed the Tavern door interaction appearing above the building in Horndean and Blackridgepool.

  • Fixed held input carrying over to the next interaction on the list incorrectly.

  • Fixed non-existent items appearing in storage rules after unlocking a Shipwright's pack.

  • Improved height placement of the cart station.

  • Re-enabled tutorials on all platforms.
